It's All Fun And Games at NYCC 2023

For 2023, I'm attending New York Comic Con (NYCC) as an average attendee - no panel appearances, no presentations; just having fun for my own self. BUT I couldn't resist the opportunity to try an experiment.

Each Day of the four day show, I will be cosplaying and thought it would be fun to add a little silliness to my cosplay interactions. So for each cosplay character, I have handouts that I will be giving to random congoers who interact with me.

Thursday - Disney Bounding Ahsoka will be handing out Con Bingo (look for the purple Ahsoka t-shirt and Chewbacca Crocs)

Friday - Wilma (Waldo's sister) will be handing out Where's Waldo puzzle games

Saturday - The 13th Doctor will be handing out color your own TARDIS (look for the Fez that says Kerblam)

Sunday - Live Action Miss Minutes (look for the amazing orange hat and cape like dress) will be handing out a Variant Poster (designed by me)

Why these handouts? What's in it for those who take them? What's the point?

A. They're all in keeping with the characters themselves.

B. A little extra fun.

C. These are test runs to see if there would be interest in a bigger idea that I have for the fan convention scene - TBA

How will I know if people enjoy these handouts?

1. They will be encouraged to subscribe to my blog and/or follow me on socials

2. They will be encouraged to post on their own socials their completed handout with the hashtag #travelingeekNYCC

3. I'm giving away ::modest:: prizes to those a random selection of participants
