The Travelin' Geek Show
As the TravelinGeek, I offer interactive family friendly experiences designed to engage people of all ages and abilities. Weaving together improvisation, cosplay and classic childhood games, no performance with the TravelinGeek is ever the same.
Examples:
- PlayStory: A lively reading (with audience participation) of a fan culture oriented story followed by make and take craft/activity (Themes include but are not limited to: Time and Space Travel, Read and Seek, Superheroes) Target ages: 5-10 years old with parents present
- Mulitversal Madness: Part cosplay showcase, part playground game fest, this activity is designed to give kids an opportunity to get the wiggles out and adults to be kids again. Participants compete for swag items. Target Ages: 8-16 years old with parents present
- Create Your Own Superhero Workshop: Using theatrical and illustration techniques, we workshop as a group to create individual superhero characters. All participants will come away from the workshop with the backstory, personality characteristics and costume ideas for their hero. Target Ages: 6-12 years
- Customized Fan Meet Ups: designed to meet the needs and expectations of any IP and fan participant. All Ages.
